Johnny Depp and the fucking snowflakes!

You know that type of stupid articles that just make you want to punch somebody? Well, here is one of those articles:

The next instalment in the Fantastic Beats franchise will feature Johnny Depp as the main villain. And this is a good thing, because Depp is a terrific actor and he will be amazing as Grindelwald. Now of course a lot of liberal lunatics got triggered because in their minds, Johnny Depp is an abuser. Why? Because his ex-wife said that he beat her. But let’s break it down into little increments and see their arguments:

They say that judgment by the public court is not the same as judging by an actual court and that we should not speak about the “Innocent till proven guilty” idea, because it does not apply here. The only problem is that it fucking does apply and this is in my mind the biggest problem with this witch hunt for “sexual predators” in the last months. Get it through your thick skulls snowflakes, nobody is guilty until you have legal proof of that guilt. We are all innocent and we do not have to prove our innocence, the accusers have to prove we did something wrong. Until Depp or Spacey or Louis CK or Weinstein are convicted for something by a judge or jury, they are INNOCENT! No matter how many people say otherwise, no matter if they apologize and no matter if they even admit they did something wrong. You can only be guilty in the eyes of the law, the rest is just pure opinion.

And this obsession today with demonizing anybody who is merely accused of stuff will lead us to a very dangerous path. Because nobody can give a person their career and their life back if they are proven to be innocent. This is what the so called “public court” does, it ruins the careers and lives of people based on simple allegations, that sometimes prove true and sometimes prove false. But you can’t give back a reputation, so maybe we should be more careful and assign blame only when the law says somebody is guilty. And the perfect example for this is Dominique Strauss-Kahn, who was accused of rape by a maid and forced to resign from his post as managing director of the IMF because of the public outcry. Good you’d say, but then he was acquitted of all charges and the woman testified before a grand jury that she lied about the events. So? What do you do now? How do you give this man back his position and career that you took from him just because you thought he did something? How do you do that snowflakes?

Innocent until proven guilty is the way the system works for any criminal out there, and it should work the same for famous people. You did nothing wrong until someone comes up with legal proof that you did. Learn that and we will be able to stop this absurd witch hunt that does nothing but create headlines. Yes, people can ignore the new Fantastic Beast movie for whatever reason, they can think Johnny Depp sucks as an actor, no problem with that. But he is not an abuser and he did nothing wrong until a court says that he did!

And this brings me to the second point, and the fact that Johnny Depp actually did not abuse Amber Heard. I know it’s funny, but the police confirmed there was NO evidence of abuse, the lawsuit was settled outside of court, all the charges against Depp were dropped, and none of the so called evidence has been verified or even submitted to the police. Nothing, just the words of the so called “victim”. People lie, people victimize themselves so stop basing your opinions on feelings and start thinking about facts.

Yes, it’s sad that rape happens, it’s sad when abuse happens, but that does not mean that any accusations regarding those things should be taken as an absolute truth. I feel for the victims of abuse, but they have to prove their allegations the same as anyone of us. So stop it with the crusade and understand that no matter how pure you think your motives are, you can still cause more harm than good if you don’t follow the correct channels. People do not impose justice, the courts to that, so let’s leave it up to them and in the meanwhile learn to enjoy ourselves more and stop projecting our own insecurities and obsessions on others!

  1. totally agree with you, also these people quickly jump to accuse depp when he was never guilty of anything but do not give a damn about the fact that heard was arrested and convicted for abusing his ex-girlfriend, it is the hypocesia and doubles standards at its maximum expression.
